Hsigo are monkey-like creatures who have wings and human-like faces. They were known well throughout Asia as they tended to serve practitioners of magick and gained notoriety with humans However, they lived across the Earth and engaged with many different species and peoples.
During their existence on Earth, they were a wilder and non-domesticated population that could have solid or multi-colored bodies, feathers, and eyes. They could be any size from around the size of a house-cat to the size of a gorilla, their size and stature varied based on their geographic location. As in service to practitioners of magick through ancient Asia, they earned their place in the foundation of ancient Asian practices of magick. Hsigo lived in communities of various size from under fifty to a few thousand – depending on the time period and location.
