The Mazou are a herd of horse-like creatures. They are the protectors of every living being on Earth, tasked with this eternal task after being born of the earth of Eden. Their names are Caljoy, Xander, Manda, Quazi, Tarji, Uva, Resa and Pala. They protect life on Earth from the smallest insect to the largest mammal. It was written their neigh “Echoed a thousand valleys and as their hooves struck the earth it roared”.
The Mazou are the embodiment of power – being great defenders, guardians, and conduits of justice. Their presence was little written about after the flood of Noah’s time. At first many thought the Mazou had been taken by the great flood, but their lives were spared as they were lifted into the skies for safety. They continued to watch, ever-present and aware. As the population of animals grew in number so did their presence and they became a fixture of written legend around the time of Charlemagne.
