Simurgh, sometimes spelled Senmurv, are great bird-like creatures who were part beautiful bird with long plumes and the head of a dog-like creature, and paws like a lion. The Simurgh held a powerful connection between the earth, sea, and sky. They lived and thrived across the globe, but only in areas that had a great body of water where they could bathe, relax, and draw energy from the terra, water, and air around them.
They provide a grounded energy to the Elements, not only for other Simurgh, but also for other species who worked with them like Elves, Fae, Gnomes, Dryads, Merfolk, etc. Simurgh would go to lengths to help others in work with magic associated with the Earth and Elements.
