The Different Types Of Spirit Keepers

Generally, people fall into one of these two types of Spirit Keepers:

– Companion Spirit Keepers
– Community Spirit Keepers

Some people start out as one type, then change along the way.  This is perfectly normal as we all discover and grow along our Spirit Keeping journey.  Both types of Spirit Keepers benefit from undeniably rewarding advantages over those who do not keep spirits.  You can read more in our Why Spirit Keepers Have the Edge article.

Companion Spirit Keepers

Companion Spirit Keepers typically prefer relationships with one spirit or a small number of spirits. They adopt spirits only occasionally and spend considerable time bonding with them. This method forges deep, lasting bonds with their spirits. The Companion Spirit Keeper is passionate about learning everything they can about the lives of their spirits before they died as well as about their lives on the Spiritual Realm. This type of Spirit Keeper often prefers the ‘best friend’ type of relationship rather than the ‘friend group’ type of relationship. Additionally, the spirits they keep are usually gifted in and focused on very specific areas of their life.

Community Spirit Keepers

Community Spirit Keepers typically prefer relationships with several or many spirits.  They adopt spirits frequently, and often of various races.  Promoting an open social community or family-style environment, they encourage regular interaction between each other.  The Community Spirit Keeper enjoys being part of a bustling, active atmosphere busy with spirits befriending one another, exchanging ideas, and sharing experiences.  Keepers often rely on their large spirit groups to jointly handle large projects.
