What’s The Difference Between Binding And Attachment?

A Binding is the permanent and direct binding of a spirit companion, energy, or spell to a physical item such as a vessel or a person, whereas an Attachment is temporary and is generally carried out by energies or spirits themselves. Spirits can attach themselves to a physical item such as a vessel or a person.  With an Attachment, the spirit or energy can remove themselves and they can be banished by the person or owner of the vessel.
